This data protection information applies to the processing of data by Steinbeis Transfer GmbH, Steinbeis Research Center Explorative Digitization Solutions, Friedenstr. 5, 97072 Würzburg, Germany, when using the BeeSmart app.
The following access permissions are technically necessary for the app to function:
Memory access: The app accesses the device memory to temporarily store and change content.
Network access: The app can access all networks to ensure communication.
Mobile data: The app receives Internet data outside of a Wi-Fi area to enable information retrieval on the go.
When you use functions of the BeeSmart app, it automatically sends information to our servers. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file.
Without your intervention, the following information is collected and stored until automated deletion:
IP address,
Date and time of access,
Name and URL of the retrieved file (file request of the client),
Amount of data transferred
Notification of successful retrieval.
The processing is carried out for the following purposes:
Ensuring a smooth connection setup,
Ensuring comfortable use,
evaluation of system security and stability, for statistical purposes, such as measuring demand, as well as for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest results from the listed purposes for data collection. The collected data will not be used to draw conclusions about your person. The data cannot be assigned to specific persons by us. This data is also not merged with other data sources.The log files are used by us for troubleshooting and monitoring the functionality of the system. All log files are deleted after 4 weeks at the latest.
All servers used to operate the BeeSmart app are operated in data centers in Germany. As a matter of principle, we do not store any data on other servers, especially not abroad.We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or against unauthorized third-party access. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
You can use the e-mail addresses provided by us to contact us. Your e-mail will be processed by us. In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for processing the conversation.The legal basis for this data processing is consent. Should you seek contact with us in order to conclude a contract, the legal basis is the fulfillment of the contract or a pre-contractual measure.The data will be deleted when the purpose of the data processing has been achieved. This may depend on the circumstances of the individual case when contact is made. It is possible that a legal retention period stands in the way of immediate deletion. An analysis tool is integrated into the use of the BeSmart app in order to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing it for you. The integration is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. Through the use of the analysis tool, the following data is collected:
IP address
Date and time of access
Name and URL of the retrieved file (file request of the client),
Amount of data transferred
Message about successful retrieval.
The collection/storage only takes place for the above-mentioned purpose. The data is stored on our server, it is not passed on to third parties. The IP addresses are anonymized, so that an assignment is not possible.

gemäß Art. 18 DSGVO die Einschränkung der Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten zu verlangen, soweit die Richtigkeit der Daten von Ihnen bestritten wird, die Verarbeitung unrechtmäßig ist, Sie aber deren Löschung ablehnen und wir die Daten nicht mehr benötigen, Sie jedoch diese zur Geltendmachung, Ausübung oder Verteidigung von Rechtsansprüchen benötigen oder Sie gemäß Art. 21 DSGVO Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung eingelegt haben;
